For Aarikka, we created a series of branded animated segments designed to support tactical product videos across multiple digital channels.

The animations revolve around Aarikka’s iconic lacquered wooden beads, whose rhythmic movement and formation became the core visual language. Special attention was given to capturing the authentic textures, colors and material qualities of the beads, ensuring the animations feel true to the craftsmanship behind the products.

Inspired by the brand’s guiding ideas — “Leikki ei lopu” (“The play never ends”) and “Tottelemattomille” (“For the disobedient”) — the animations embrace a playful and expressive motion style. Six distinct themes were created to represent different product and color categories, forming a flexible set of visual modules that can be used as standalone pieces or integrated into product videos across formats and platforms.
